# Elvin

> Elvin is proactive AI that works ahead of you. Most AI waits for you to ask. Elvin watches your inbox, calendar, and messages, finds what needs doing, and drafts it before you ask. You just say yes. It is in beta, free while it learns, available on web, iPhone, and Android, and as a direct chat channel inside Telegram and SMS.

Elvin is built for people holding a lot of threads at once — product managers, consultants, founders, eng managers, investors, and anyone whose to-do list has a to-do list. Setup takes about a minute. There are no prompts to perfect and no agents to build. Connect your accounts and Elvin learns who you are and how you work. It runs sandboxed in the cloud with only the access it needs and never trains on your data. CASA Tier 2 certified; SOC 2 in progress. The company is Elvin, Inc.

## How Elvin is different

- **Build it yourself (Lindy, Zapier):** you design the automation step by step, then keep it running. Elvin writes its own plans from your context.
- **Prompt it yourself (ChatGPT, Claude):** you still have to remember to ask. Elvin works ahead of you and brings the work to you.
- **Risky power tools (OpenClaw):** full access to your machine and real security exposure. Elvin is sandboxed, permissioned, and asks before it acts.

## What Elvin does

- Watches your inbox, calendar, and messages, finds work that needs doing, and drafts it before you ask (you review and approve).
- Operates a computer in the cloud, so it returns finished files — documents, decks, spreadsheets with formulas, charts — not how-tos for making them yourself.
- Catches the things you keep meaning to automate. When it sees you doing the same thing the same way, it offers to take it over.
- Lives wherever you are: web, iOS, Android, Telegram, SMS, and via Siri ("Hey Siri, text Elvin…"). Telegram and SMS are channels where you chat with Elvin directly, not integrations.
- Saves founders roughly an hour a day, by the beta cohort's own report.

## Skills

Skills are pre-built workflows turned on with a click and tuned for how you work. Examples: Meeting Prep, Stakeholder Update, Inbox Zero, Follow-Up, Weekly Deal Flow, Due Diligence. You can also describe your own — tell Elvin what you want and it builds the Skill.
